The panorama was photographed from Château Gütsch high above the city of Lucerne, Switzerland on a day in summer 2009.

The images are captured with the Panorama Head Rodeon Modular, a Canon EOS 5D Mark II and a macro lens EF 100mm f/2.8 L in RAW-format. The fix apertute and shutter speed is f/10 and 1/320” respectively. The horizontal and vertical field of view is 186° and 50° respectively. The original panorama with 16 bit colour depth (TIF) has a file size of 4.1GB and the numbers of pixels are 50’300 by 14'400. The 59 single images are stitched with PTGui. The above published panorama has a file size of 140MB in JPG-format (Quality 8) with more than 15’104 images.
